Pori Upma / Puffed Rice Upma
Want to try an easy and tasty upma for breakfast , then this pori upma is the perfect one. and also it will help the working women

Ingredients

puffed rice / pori 5 cup
onion
2 no.
red chili 2 no.
green chili 2 no.
salt
to taste
turmeric powder
1 tsp
oil
4 tsp
mustard 1 tsp
broken
black gram
1/2 tsp
bengal gram
1/2 tsp
curry leaves
1 bunch
Instructions
soak the pori / puffed rice in
water
for 5 minutes
filter the puffed rice / pori from
water
.
chop the
onion
. green chili, red chili and
curry leaves
heat the
oil
in the pan and temper the mustard, broken
black gram
,
bengal gram
,
curry leaves
, red chili and green chili
add
onion
and saute it until it turn into brown
add
salt
and
turmeric powder
and mix well
add puffed rice / pori and mix well and allow to fry for 5 minutes in a medium flame
pori upma / puffed rice upma is ready to serve
