Pori urundai is a crunchy ,crisp, light and delicious ladoo which gets ready in minutes. This ladoo is traditionally made on the occasion of karthigai deepam the light festival in tamil nadu. This is optional to flavor them with cardamom powder . A thick jaggery syrup is prepared and puffed rice is mixed in the sweet syrup and made to balls. Thus the crunchy sweet is ready to be served.

Instructions
  1. boil jaggery in water and boil it to one string consistency
  2. when you drop the syrup in water see that you can make a round ball in so that it is perfect condition to remove from flame
  3. transfer the syrup to a bowl and add puffed rice or pori and mix it with a halp of a ladle before it gets hard to stir
  4. now just grease your palms with water and make small ladoos and serve.
