Porichunda is a traditional snack in Malabar region. It is a very healthy snack for kids. The preparation method of porichunda is very easy and here I use an overripe plantain while making the dough, that makes the porichunda very soft and yummy.
Take enough water, add 1 tbsp oil in it and bring it to boil.
When it start boil, add sugar, black sesame seeds, salt, and chopped overripe plantain.cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
Add rice flour little by little at a time and turn off the flame.
Convert into a bowl and mix well using hand and make a smooth dough.
Make small balls out of the dough.using a stick make a hole in the prepared dough ball ,from one side to another.
Deep fry the balls in hot oil until golden brown in colour.take care when frying the balls,May be balls will be break from the pan.so make a distance from the pan.
