  • Boil the potatoes. Peel the skin and mash it with fork.
  • Add the flour, salt and make a small space in between.
  • Add egg and knead the mixture into dough.
  • In a board spread some flour. Place the dough and cut into long pieces.
  • Again cut into small pieces. Shape it with fork.(roll the dough pieces thru a fork).
  • Keep this aside for 5 minutes.
  • In a vessel add lot of water. Add salt.
  • When water starts to boil, add the pieces 1 by 1.
  • When it floats, the gonacchi is ready
  • This is the basic gonacchi. Serve with sauces.
