  • Tomato(chopped) - 150 g
  • Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
  • Onion(chopped) - 1 no
  • Ginger(chopped) - 1 tsp
  • Red chilly(finely chopped) - 1 no
  • Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing potato masala, first heat oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds, ginger, onion, tomato and coriander powder for 2 minutes.
  2. Add red chilly and cubed potatoes. Fry in low flame.
  3. Add 100 ml water, required salt and cook covered for 7 minutes. Stir in and cook uncovered for a further 7 minutes until tender.
  4. Potato masala, a yummy favorite with kids, is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves.
