Instructions
  1. For preparing potato tikka, in a pressure cooker half cook the potatoes in water and salt. Drain the water.
  2. Heat ghee in a vessel on low flame. SautT in the onions and anise till the onions becomes golden brown in colour. Then remove the anise.
  3. In a bowl, mix in ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, curry powder, turmeric powder and chilly powder with a little water.
  4. Then add it to the fried onions and mix it well for 3 minutes on low flame.
  5. Toss in the potatoes and pour in coconut powder mixture.
  6. In a bowl mix in the cream, yogurt, tomatoes and tomato puree with water and pour it into the vessel. Mix it well.
  7. Allow it to simmer for 20 minutes until potatoes are done and stir it occasionally.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala and mix it well.
  9. Potato tikka is ready.
