Instructions
  1. First beat butter and shortening together.
  2. Add sugar and beat till fluffy.
  3. Now, add eggs one by one beating simultaneously. Stir in vanilla and beat again.
  4. Sieve flour with baking powder. Add the sieved flour, cream cheese and milk alternatively and mix well.
  5. Finally, add walnuts, color cherries and mix well.
  6. Transfer the cake mix into a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for 80 minutes.
  7. Pound cake with walnut, a delicious tea time snack, is ready.
