Instructions
  1. Heat up a large pan.
  2. Add 1 1/2 litres of water, spices and salt and bring to a boil.
  3. Add rice.
  4. Bring to a boil and lower the heat.
  5. Add lemon juice and continue to boil, stirring occasionally, until cooked. Keep this aside.
  6. Heat oil in another pan.
  7. Stir on a medium heat, until the garlic is light golden.
  8. Mix coriander powder, chilly powder and turmeric powder in two tbsp of water to a smooth paste.
  9. Add the above paste into the pan.
  10. Stir, until the moisture evaporates.
  11. Add the prawns and salt and sautT for a while. Cook covered until done adding little water in between.
  12. Remove from heat and keep cooked prawns aside.
  13. Heat ghee in another pan.
  14. Add onions and stir-fry on a medium heat, until golden.
  15. Add the prawns and stir, until the moisture has almost evaporated.
  16. Add the rice and stir carefully for 2 - 3 mins.
  17. :- Make sure that the rice does not break.
  18. Remove to a serving dish.
  19. :- Serve hot.

I was visiting varkala beach once and had shrimp neyi choru there which was very yummy. The finished product with this recipe is the same as I had in the hotel there. This is very yummy. Thank you
