Nadan Prawn Roast is a common and lip smacking delicacy of all sea food lovers. You find the dish quite popular in seashore side hotels and restaurants. The flavor and aroma of Kerala Style Chemmeen Varattiyathu is something you will never forget. Prawn dishes are my favorite among seafood delicacies. My aunt is my inspiration in creating this fantastic Nadan Prawn Roast. She was an expert in cooking and her delicious food was filled with flavours, aroma, taste and all love. Here I’m gonna share that delicious recipe with step by step illustrations, lets go through it. Packed with spices, the dish tastes great with any Indian bread and rice dishes. Unlike western dishes that require baking, the dish requires frying the marinated prawns and later roasting with required ingredients. Observe a tip for Nadan Prawn Roast – prawns should not be overcooked. Overcooking tends to make the prawns rubbery and hard. This is one of that sought after loved delicacy.

Kerala Style Chemmeen Varattiyathu is an easy to prepare dish that requires minimum ingredients. It is the dash of coconut milk added during the final stage that makes the dish exotic and flavorful and perhaps one of the tastiest dishes for seafood. Prawns are rich in protein and vital nutrients required for body. They contain high levels of zinc which builds a healthy immune system. Kids love prawns and the protein rich prawns are very good in their growing up stage. Prawns are costly and are available at exorbitant prices. Remember to clean and devein the prawns otherwise you are likely to develop stomach discomfort. Make sure that the prawns are fresh and it’s always better to buy from known sources. You can explore a well detailed Nadan Prawn Roast recipe here that can be easily prepared at home.
