Prawn Varuval

s

Prawn Varuval or fry can be easily prepared with simple everyday ingredients available in your home. The dish tastes good as a perfect side with sambar or rasam sadam. At times you can also relish Prawn Varuval with variety dishes like lemon and tamarind rice, perfect for picnics and travel. The crispy golden masala flavored prawns are a love at first sight. The dish can also be served as starter for get together and parties. Pawns are expensive and come in different sizes, small, medium, large and jumbo. To make any seafood dish, we use very little garam masala or spices. This helps to maintain the original flavor of the prawns or seafood, otherwise the prawns get dominated by the masala flavor. Prawn dishes are my favorite among seafood dishes. Prawn Varuval can be prepared in less than 15 minutes of time excluding marination time. Keep on shallow frying the prawns and it turns out real amazing.

My mother prepares the best Prawn Varuval dish and that preferably during weekends when the entire family is around. The main highlight of this dish is cumin seeds and curry leaves that brings out the best of flavors. Fried curry eaves….leaves the varuval hot and yummy. Prawns are nutritious, rich in protein and other vital nutrients required for body. I have used large sized fresh prawns for preparing this Prawn Varuval. Devein the prawns well otherwise it tends to cause stomach disorders. Also rinse the cleaned prawns in a little bit of vinegar to remove that fishy smell. If using frozen prawns, you need to soak the prawns in some hot water to make it soft. You can discover a well detailed Prawn Varuval dish here that can be easily prepared at home. Enjoy the dish with your family and friends.
