Prawn Varuval or fry can be easily prepared with simple everyday ingredients available in your home. The dish tastes good as a perfect side with sambar or rasam sadam. At times you can also relish Prawn Varuval with variety dishes like lemon and tamarind rice, perfect for picnics and travel. The crispy golden masala flavored prawns are a love at first sight. To make any seafood dish, we use very little garam masala or spices. This helps to maintain the original flavor of the prawns or seafood, otherwise the prawns get dominated by the masala flavor. Devein the prawns well otherwise it tends to cause stomach disorders. Also rinse the cleaned prawns in a little bit of vinegar to remove that fishy smell.
