Instructions Heat a pan pour water and salt in it . Wait till it gets boiled. Add rice flour to it and off flame stir well. Mix it well using hands for about 5 minutes and then make it oval shaped dough to place in a idiyappm maker. Use a plate or plastic sheet and pour rice flour on it. Then using a idiyappm maker squeeze the dough on the rice flour and pour rice flour frequently so that it wont stick with each other. Then by using a sieve or any plate which have small holes remove the excess flour. Enter Step Enter Step Transfer the matter in to puttu maker with coconut gratings alternately. Place maker on a pressure cooker or steaming vessel and steam for 3 to 5 minutes. Push out the cakes from the maker to a plate and serve with plantain, or curry or with sugar.
