Vadas made with Garbanzo beans(Kabuli kadala) and Soya chunks

Kabuli kadala

Soya chunks

Onion
finely chopped, big

Green chillies
finely chopped
Coriander leaves
finely chopped
10
nos
Curry leaves
finely chopped
2
nos
Garlic
pods
finely chopped
1/4"

Ginger
finely chopped
or
Ginger
garlic
paste - 1 tsp
Salt
As reqd
Oil
for frying
Instructions
Soak garbanzo beans in
water
for 4 - 5 hours.
Soak soya chunks in hot
water
for 15 mins.
Grind together garbanzo beans and soya chunks with a little
water
to form a coarse mixture.
Mix together the finely chopped onions,
green chillies
, coriander leaves,
curry leaves
,
ginger
and
garlic
.
Add the ground mixture into it and mix well.
Add
salt
and mix well again.
Make small vadas off the mixture.
Deep fry them in
oil
on a medium flame.
:- Optionally, you can add 1/2 tsp of masala powder to the mixture too.
