Vadas made with Garbanzo beans(Kabuli kadala) and Soya chunks

Kabuli kadala

Onion
finely chopped, big

Green chillies
finely chopped
Coriander leaves
finely chopped

Curry leaves
finely chopped
2
nos
Garlic
pods
finely chopped
1/4"

Ginger
finely chopped
or
Ginger
garlic
paste - 1 tsp
Salt
As reqd
Oil
for frying
Instructions
Soak garbanzo beans in
water
for 4 - 5 hours.
Soak soya chunks in hot
water
for 15 mins.
Grind together garbanzo beans and soya chunks with a little
water
to form a coarse mixture.
Mix together the finely chopped onions,
green chillies
, coriander leaves,
curry leaves
,
ginger
and
garlic
.
Add the ground mixture into it and mix well.
Add
salt
and mix well again.
Make small vadas off the mixture.
Deep fry them in
oil
on a medium flame.
:- Optionally, you can add 1/2 tsp of masala powder to the mixture too.
