Pumpkin-Green Gram Curry

Instructions
  1. Cook the pumpkin with green gram, garlic, salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Smash the pumpkin pieces moderately, so that it is mixed well with the green gram.
  3. :- Let this mixture remain thick and not watery.
  4. Grind together cocunut, green chillies and cumin seeds.
  5. Mix it with the cooked pumpkin-gram mixture.
  6. Add water to get the required consistency.
  7. Bring it to a boil.
  8. Heat coconut oil in a frying pan.
  9. Splutter mustard seeds.
  10. Add curry leaves, chopped onion and red chillies to it.
  11. Saute, until the onion turns golden brown.
  12. Pour the above seasoning into the pumpkin-gram mix.

Excellent receipe Noori.I never liked greem gram before but this pumpkin combination was so good with the sprouted gram.

hi, I think we can avoid the garlic as it removes the original flavour from the curry….. this recipe is just excellent with white rice and papadam
