Pumpkin Leaf Thoran

It is a traditional nadan curry prepared with pumpkin leaves. It goes well with boiled rice.

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a kadai and add mustards.when it splutters add urad dal.Stir for a minute.
  2. Chop pumpkin leaves very nicely.
  3. Grind grated coconut,cumin seeds,onions and chilli powder and turmeric powder in a mixer..
  4. Mix this ground mix with chopped pumpkin leaves and keep it aside.
  5. Add this mix to kadai add salt and stir for 2 minutes.
  6. Close the kadai with lid and cook pumpkin leaf for 5 minutes.
  7. Now pumpkin leaf thoran is ready to serve.
