  • Kathal (jackfruit) cut into small cubes : 250 gm -
  • Finely chopped tomatoes : 2 nos -
  • Green chilies : 3 nos -
  • Red chili powder : 1 tsp -
  • Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp -
  • Garam Masala : 1 tsp -
  • Jeera powder :1 tsp -
  • Dry mango powder : 1 tsp -
  • Salt : as reqd -
  • Oil : as reqd -

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan for frying.
  2. Sprinkle salt on the kathal cubes and fry them till brown.
  3. Take little amount of oil in a non-stick pan and add green chilies.
  4. Cook for about a minute and add the fried kathal.
  5. Add salt, turmeric powder and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, jeera powder, garam masala and mix well.
  7. Let it cook by covering the pan with a lid.
  8. When all the masalas get blended neatly in the kathal, remove the lid and add dry mango powder.
  9. Mix well and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
