  • Sieve flour and mix oil.
  • Add water at the ratio of 2:1 (1 cup water for 2 cup flour) and salt.
  • Prepare a medium stiff dough, knead well and set aside for at least half an hour.
  • Knead dough again till soft.
  • Divide into even sized balls and roll them out.
  • Fry puris gently pressing down with a flat spoon in a circular motion.
  • When puffed up, turn over.
  • Keep till both the sides become light brown.
  • :- Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot!!!
