Ragi Adai

Ragi adai /Finger Millet Adai recipe was in my try list for long time.Its a healthy breakfast/dinner recipe for diabetic and for people who wants to lose their weight.

Ingredients
  

  • Ragi Flour 2 cup
  • onion 1 no.
  • Red chili 5 no.
  • salt to taste
  • curry leaves 1 bunch
  • oil 4 tsp
  • mustard 1/2 tsp
  • broken urad dal 1/5 tsp
  • channa dal 1/2 tsp

Instructions
 

  • chop the onion, red chili and curry leaves
  • in a pan heat the oil and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and channa dal
  • in a bowl add ragi flour, salt, chopped onion, red chili, curry leaves and tempered mustard
  • add water and mix well and make as a thick batter
  • heat the tawa and put the batter in round shape through hand and apply oil, cook in medium flame
  • turn the side and apply oil, allow to cook for 5 mins
  • ragi adai is ready to serve
