Ragi adai /Finger Millet Adai recipe was in my try list for long time.Its a healthy breakfast/dinner recipe for diabetic and for people who wants to lose their weight.

  • Curry leaves 1 bunch -
  • Oil : 4 tsp -
  • Mustard : 1/2 tsp -
  • broken urad dal 1/5 tsp -
  • channa dal 1/2 tsp -

Instructions
  1. chop the onion, red chili and curry leaves
  2. in a pan heat the oil and temper the mustard, broken urad dal and channa dal
  3. in a bowl add ragi flour, salt, chopped onion, red chili, curry leaves and tempered mustard
  4. add water and mix well and make as a thick batter
  5. heat the tawa and put the batter in round shape through hand and apply oil, cook in medium flame
  6. turn the side and apply oil, allow to cook for 5 mins
  7. ragi adai is ready to serve
