Raagi murukku is a popular snack in Southern part of Karnataka. A healthy evening snack that can be munched with a cup of hot tea or coffee.

Ingredients
  

  • Ragi / Finger millet 1 cup
  • Rice flour 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • asafoetida 1 tsp
  • white sesame seed 1 tsp
  • Ghee 2 tsp
  • Ajwain / omam 1 tsp
  • water 1 glass
  • oil to fry

Instructions
 

  • make ready of all ingredients, ragi , rice flour, salt, red chili powder, asafoetida, white sesame seed, ghee, omam seeds
  • in a bowl add all ingredients ragi , rice flour, salt, red chili powder, asafoetida, white sesame seeds, ghee, omam/ajwain
  • add water and make as a dough
  • take some from ragi dough and squeeze the murukku using single shaped plate in the press.
  • heat the oil and cook in high flame but dont burn it
  • ragi / finger millet murukku is ready
