Raagi murukku is a popular snack in Southern part of Karnataka. A healthy evening snack that can be munched with a cup of hot tea or coffee.

Ingredients
  • Ragi / Finger millet 1 cup –
  • Rice flour : 1 cup –
  • Salt to taste –
  • Red chili powder : 1 tsp –
  • asafoetida 1 tsp –
  • white sesame seed 1 tsp –
  • Ghee : 2 tsp –
  • Ajwain / omam 1 tsp –
  • water 1 glass –
  • Oil to fry –
Instructions
  1. make ready of all ingredients, ragi , rice flour, salt, red chili powder, asafoetida, white sesame seed, ghee, omam seeds
  2. in a bowl add all ingredients ragi , rice flour, salt, red chili powder, asafoetida, white sesame seeds, ghee, omam/ajwain
  3. add water and make as a dough
  4. take some from ragi dough and squeeze the murukku using single shaped plate in the press.
  5. heat the oil and cook in high flame but dont burn it
  6. ragi / finger millet murukku is ready
