  • Add the green gram in a pressure cooker and add 1.5 cup water. Close the cooker and cook in high flame till first whistle and in low flame till 3 whistles.
  • Melt jaggery by adding 1 cup water and strain it.
  • Pour the coconut milk, powdered ragi and melted jaggery into a saucepan and mix well.
  • Finally add cooked green gram, salt and cardamom powder.
  • Cook for 10 minutes in medium flame.
