Ingredients

Shallots
sliced

Tomato
chopped

Asafoetida powder
1 1/2
tbsp
Pepper powder
1/2
tsp
Turmeric powder
1
tsp
Coriander powder
1/2
tsp
Fenugreek powder
Uluva
Salt
As reqd

Oil

tsp
Mustard

Dry
red chillies
Kollamulaku
Instructions
Soak
tamarind
in 4 cups of
water
and extract the
tamarind
pulp.
Heat
oil
in a pan.
Splutter
mustard seeds
.
Add crushed
ginger
and sliced small
onion
and saute till it becomes light brown.
Add dry
red chillies
, asafoetida powder,
pepper powder
,
turmeric powder
,
coriander powder
, fenugreek powder and
salt
and saute well. Add chopped
tomato
and saute till it get mashed well.
6)Add
tamarind
water
and mix it well and bring it to boil.
:- Serve hot with rice.
