1 cup Semolina (Rava/Sooji)1/4 cup Ghee1 1/4 cups Sugar10 nos CashewsKesari colour (A pinch)2 cups Hot water1/4 tsp Cardamom powder (Elakka)10 nos Raisins (Onakkamunthiri) Heat ghee in a pan.Add cashews, raisins, cardamom and fry till brown in color.Add rava and fry for 2 minutes or till the raw smell of the rava leaves. Keep this aside.Boil hot water in a pan and mix the fried rava and sugar in it.Mix well so that no lumps are formed.Add kesari color.When it becomes thick remove from flame. :- Serve hot or chilled.
