Instructions
  1. Remove the outer leaf of the red cabbage. Discard this.
  2. Wash the red cabbage, cut it in half and cut out the white stem. Discard this.
  3. Chop the red cabbage into strips and keep aside.
  4. Heat olive oil in a pan and add chopped onions.
  5. Sauté the onions till they turn light brown in color.

  7. Add minced garlic and sauté for a few minutes more.
  8. Add cut cabbage and toss the ingredients till mixed well together.
  9. Cook uncovered for approximately 10 minutes or till the cabbage is cooked.
  10. This salad can be served as a side with chicken roast, meat or mashed potatoes.
