Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Japanese rice short grain rice needs little water to cook
  • 1 no Cucumber small size, cut in very fine pieces
  • 1 packet Furikake Japanese rice seasoning : can be sesame, seaweed, shaved tuna, salt, sugar etc

Instructions
 

  • Cook rice as per the instruction given on the package. :- This needs little water to cook and this rice can be cooked in a rice cooker.
  • Leave the pot to sit for some time. 3)While it is still warm, shape the rice into balls with your palm. :- Keep a bowl of water to wet your hands so that the rice will not stick to your palm.
  • Make a dent in the middle and leave some cucumber in it and shape into balls again.
  • Place the balls in a platter and sprinkle furikake (various assortment) on it as shown in the picture.
  • Can be eaten immediately or put to chill in the refrigerator for later use.
