Rumali Roti

Rumali Roti is a thin Indian bread recipe and can be easily folded like handkerchief. This is a soft, thin delicious roti prepared using maida and wheat flour. This bread is a popular dish in Punjab and can be served with any gravies.

  • Sieve the maida and wheat flour.
  • Knead them together to make a dough by adding enough water and curd. The dough should neither be too soft nor too hard.
  • Make balls off the above dough and roll them into thin and big rotis.
  • Heat the kadai or tawa upside down in the gas.
  • Put the roti on the kadai and roast slightly both the sides of the roti for about half a minute.
  • :- Serve hot with Shahi Dal or Shahi Paneer. :- Makes about 15 rotis.

    hi….i tried rumal roti with da givn reipe,bt wen i finishd cookin it turned out to b a chappati…..!! what shud i do to improve???

    u`r roti recipe is fine .but u will add some to extra for do the elastic consitency
