Saboon ari payasam also known as sago seed payasam is a easiest payasam recipe.It is a delicious dessert made with sgo seed,biriyani rice,coconut milk,milk powder,sugar,raisins and cashew nuts.

Instructions
  1. Soak saboon ari for 4 hours.
  2. Grind grated coconut for few seconds and take coconut milk out of it.
  3. Cook the biriyani rice with enough water
  4. Add saboon ari,coconut milk,salt into the cooked rice and cook until the saboon ari is soft.add some water if required to get the correct consistency of payasam.
  5. Add sugar, cardamom powder and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Melt milk power in warm water and mix it with the payasam.
  7. Heat ghee in a pan, roast cashew nuts and raisins in it and mix it with the payasam.
  8. Sboon ari payasam is ready to serve.
