  • Soak sabudana in water for about 3 - 4 hrs.
  • Heat ghee in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter cumin seeds.
  • Add chopped onion, curry leaves, green chillies and ginger and sautT well.
  • Add soaked sago and mix well.
  • Lower the flame and sautT well for about 5 mins.
  • Add grated coconut and mix well.
  • Add crushed peanuts and salt and mix well again.
  • Remove from the flame.
  • :- Serve hot.

    I tried ur recipe,but my uppuma came out jam,I think after soaking sago,need to boil with water and remove that water.If u have any idea reply me

    This Sabudana can be made without sticky by soaking it 30 mins, then drain the water, keep it for 5 more hours for getting stuffed. Then do follow the recipe, it will be nice

    Is their any trick to make it not sticky…..?? otherwise tastes good.
