Instructions
  1. Cook raw banana and chena pieces in a pressure cooker along with salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Grind together coconut, red chilli powder and cumin seeds.
  3. :- Keep aside 3 spoon of coconut for seasoning.
  4. Add the ground mixture into the cooked vegetables and mix well.
  5. Allow it to boil.
  6. Switch off the gas.
  7. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  8. Splutter mustard seeds and saute curry leaves and dry red chillies.
  9. Add the reserved 3 spoons of coconut and fry, till it becomes golden brown in color.
  10. Add the above seasoning into the curry and mix well.

a very simple and a good recipe. another variation is to add soaked, and cooked black channa (kadala) to the raw banana and yam. a little pepper pd can also be added for a diff flavour
