  • Samai - 1 1/2 cup
  • Moong dal - 1/4 cup
  • Onion - 2 chopped
  • Green chili - 3 chopped
  • Curry and coriander leaves - 2 tsp
  • Salt(as per taste) -
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • mustard and channa dal - 1 tsp

Instructions
  1. In pan heat oil and temper mustard and channa dal and add onion and saute well
  2. Now add onion, green chili and saute well Now add soaked moong dal and saute well Now add salt and water(2: 1 ) and curry leaves and coriander
  3. When water boils add samai and cook well
  4. Now allow to cool for 5 mins
  5. prepare that mixture small balls and steam for 5-7 mins
  6. Samai Kozhukkattai is ready to serve
