Samba Puttu

Samba is a special brown rice , which is rich in iron and other nutritive properties. This puttu is made quickly for evening time snack. The rice is been soaked for 2 hrs and ground wet. This rice is sievedd and steamed for 20 mins. When the flour is cooked it is been tasted with palm sugar and coconut milk . cardamom powder is added for flavor.

Instructions
  1. soak samba rice for 2 hrs dry it and powder it.
  2. sieve the powder finely
  3. tie it in cloth and steam it.
  4. to the steamed flour add palm sugar, coconut and cardamom powder and mix well.
  5. serve it with coconut milk
