Sausage Uppumavu

Spicy treat with leftover puttu and sausages

Ingredients
  

  • 2 nos Leftover Puttu medium sized pieces
  • 1 no Sausage frozen
  • 1 no Onion
  • 1 no Egg
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 2 or Curry leaves
  • 1 no Green Chilly
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • Red Chilly Powder A pinch
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry the sausages lightly.
  • When the sausages are done, put in the onions and saute the onions, till pink in colour.
  • Beat the egg with salt and pepper and keep aside.
  • To the sauteed onions, add the curry leaves, green chillies splitted lengthwise and sprinkle a pinch of red chilly powder and saute this for a minute or so.
  • Add the beaten egg and stir it in.
  • Powder the puttu pieces with your hand and add it and stir in well.
  • Add a little hot water and toss it for 2 min.
  • :- Serve hot.

    This recipie tastes good with left over idiappam as well.
