  • Whole kashmiri chilies : 2 - 3 nos
  • Whole spicy chilies : 10 - 12 nos
  • Garlic peeled : 1 pod -
  • Oil : 4 - 5 tsp
  • Garlic minced : 8 - 10 cloves
  • Finely chopped green chilies : 2 - 3 nos
  • Finely chopped ginger : ½” pc -
  • Finely chopped onion : 1 no -
  • Chopped celery : 1 tsp -
  • Vinegar : 1 tsp -
  • Sugar : 2 tsp -
  • Ajinomoto : a pinch -
  • Salt to taste -

Instructions
  1. Soak the red chillies and peeled garlic in a pan with hot water for 30 minutes.
  2. Bring the red chilies and garlic to a boil and cool.
  3. Discard the water and grind to a fine paste. Use a little water if required for grinding.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and add the minced garlic, ginger, onion, green chilies and celery and stir fry for 2 - 3 minutes.

  6. Add the red chilli and garlic paste and cook on a low flame for 5 - 7 minutes.
  7. Add vinegar, sugar, salt and ajinomoto and cook for a few minutes till the sauce thickens.
