Semiya Pakoda Deep fried Vermicelli(Semiya) coated with besan batter 1 cup Vermicelli (Semiya)1 no Onion (chopped)1 no Potato (boiled)Ginger (garlic paste - 1 tsp)2 nos Green chillies3/4 cup Gram flour (Kadalapodi)1 tsp Rice flour1 tsp Coriander leaves (chopped)1 tsp Chilly powderCashew nuts (As reqd)1 cup Oil Fry the vermicelli, till it turns light brown.Add hot water and boil, till it becomes soft.Filter the hot water and add cold water. Repeat this process and keep the semiya aside.Mix together mashed potato, vermicelli, onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, chilly powder, gram flour, rice flour, salt, coriander leaves and cashew nuts along with 2 tsp of oil.:- Do not add water while mixing.Heat oil in a frying pan.Put small portions of the above semiya mixture into the hot oil.Deep fry, till light brown colour.:- Serve hot.
