150 g Semolina (roasted, Rava)2 litres Milk175 g Sugar1 no Onion (thinly chopped)2 tbsp Ghee30 g Cashew nuts (broken)30 g Raisins (Onakka munthiri)1 tsp Cardamon powder Take a deep bottomed pan and boil milk.Add sugar and stir.Add roasted semolina and stir gently without forming lumps.Cook in low flame. When the milk thickens, add cardamom powder. Remove from fire.Take a pan and pour ghee. Heat the pan and fry chopped onions, nuts and raisins.Pour this over the semolina payasam and serve hot. Kerala
