Clean the prawns thoroughly, drain all water and keep aside.
Take a bowl and add all the other ingredients except oil and prepare a some what thick batter adding little water.
Add the prawns to the batter and mix well. Marinate for fifteen minutes.
To a deep bottomed pan, add oil and heat. Add the prawns along with batter to the hot boiling oil and fry as pakodas. Deep fry until the pakodas turn dark brown in color.
Serve hot with onion slices and hot and sweet sauce. Best as tea time snack.
