Simple Beef - Chicken Stroganoff Quick Meals - Beef Stroganoff using Sour Cream 1 kg Beef or ChickenSelf (raising flour - 1 tbsp)Butter or Margarine4 nos Onion (chopped)6 - Mushrooms (chopped)Salt (As reqd)Pepper (As reqd)1 cup Sour cream Cut beef into narrow 2-inch long strips about 1/2-inch thick. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. :- If you want it to be more spicy, you can Indianize it using 3-4 green chillies or maybe using any red paprika powder. Once you mix all of this, keep aside.Make beef stock easily using a cube of Beef Stock cubes.Heat butter or margarine in a large heavy wok or skillet over medium heat. Add meat in batches, browning each batch quickly. Set aside and keep warm. Add the onion and mushrooms to the skillet and saute until golden brown. Add the flour and blend well. Gradually stir in beef stock. Heat for about 3 mins until sauce is thick and bubbly. Add the beef and cook until all the flavours are blended well and beef is cooked.Blend in sour cream.
