For parathas :
  • Wheat flour : 1 cup -
  • Salt : a pinch -
  • Oil : 1 tsp ( for kneading the dough & for cooking the parathas ) -
  • For Stuffing: -
  • Potatoes : 3 no.s -
  • Green chillies : 2 nos -
  • Salt : as reqd -
  • Coriander leaves : handful (finely chopped) -
  • Onion : 1 nos, finely chopped(optional) -
  • Garam masala : 1/4 tsp -

Instructions
  1. Take 1 cup of flour , add salt, oil, water and knead into a soft dough.
  2. Prepare the dough as for roti. Keep it aside. Divide into 6 equal sized ball.
  3. Pressure cook the potatoes till soft. peel the skin and mash it well.
  4. Then add chillies, garam masala, salt, coriander leaves, stuffing is ready.
  5. Make 6 equal sized balls out of the stuffing. Roll out the stuff into small round shape and keep the stuffing on Parathas.
  6. Seal the dough with stuffing inside. Roll it into round shapes carefully.
  7. Heat the tawa and place the rolled out dough.
  8. When small bubbles form, apply 2 tsp oil on the top and flip it over to the other side.
  9. Cook both sides well.
  10. Remove from tawa after both sides are cooked well.
