  • Prawns - 150 g
  • Chicken(cooked&minced) - 1/2 cup
  • Roasted peanut(crushed) - 1 cup
  • Carrot(sliced) - 1 cup
  • Beans(sliced) - 1 cup
  • Egg - 2 nos
  • Beans sprout(cooked) - 1 cup
  • Lemon grass(sliced) - 1/2 cup
  • Tofu - 1/2 cup
  • Fish sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Pad Thai sauce - 3 tbsp
  • Tamarind sauce - 2 tsp
  • garlic(chopped) - 4 cloves
  • Onion(sliced) - 1 no
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing simple pad thai, first soak rice noodles in salt water.
  2. Strain and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and onion.
  4. Add the prawns and fry till color changes to pink.
  5. Add fish sauce and cook prawns.
  6. Add carrot, lemon grass, beans and beans sprout.
  7. Sprinkle salt and fry again.
  8. Add egg and scramble it.
  9. Add tamarind sauce, pad thai sauce and mix well.
  10. Add the chicken and mix again.
  11. In a serving plate, place the noodles. Add the prawns mix and garnish with crushed peanut.
  12. Simple pad thai is ready.
