Instructions
  1. Wash and soak the basmati rice for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat some oil in a vessel.
  3. Add chopped onion and saute till it turns very soft.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the rice and continue to fry.
  6. Add water in the proportion; for 1 cup rice : 2 cups of water.
  7. Add mint leaves, coriander leaves, chopped green chillies and salt.
  8. :- We can also add green peas, carrot and any other vegetables as required.
  9. Cook till the water gets fully absorbed.
  10. Transfer the contents to a serving plate or bowl.
  11. :- Serve hot with Stuffed brinjal or Raita.
