Splutter mustard seeds followed by fenugreek seeds and ginger, fry it for 30 seconds, to this then add garlic, fry it for 30 seconds, followed by onion and fry it until onion turns golden brown. Once this is over, add the chillies and curry leaves into the vessel and fry.
To this vessel, add the powder paste, boil it and then add kukum star solution.
Add the cleaned fish and add a bit of additional water, if fish is not fully covered with water. Cook fish for 25 mins. Add salt according to your taste.
