Instructions
  1. For preparing Snake Gourd-Padavalanga Thoran, first remove seeds and other stuff from inside the snake gourd.
  2. Clean it well and chop it finely. Keep this aside.
  3. Place together the grated coconut, green chillies, garlic, turmeric powder, curry leaves and cumin seeds in a mixer bowl and run it once to make it into a coarse form.
  4. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  5. Splutter mustard seeds and saute red chillies, rice and curry leaves.
  6. Add the chopped veg followed by the coconut mixture and salt.
  7. Mix well the whole thing.
  8. Cover and cook for about 5 mins.
  9. Remove the lid and continue cooking on a low flame till Snake Gourd-Padavalanga Thoran is done.
