  • Urad daal (black gram dal) : ½ cup -
  • Salt to taste -
  • Water : sufficient to make a smooth batter -

Instructions
  1. Soak rice for about 5 hours.
  2. Soak urad dal for 3 hours.
  3. Grind dal and rice using water in a mixer or grinder.
  4. Make it a smooth batter and add sufficient salt to it mix it well.
  5. Then heat a pan add little oil or ghee to it and when it gets hot pour the smooth matter in to it and spread using a spoon.
  6. Make the both sides cooked.
  7. Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
