Instructions
  1. For preparing sooyi-chappu vada, soak the chickpeas in water for 5 hours.
  2. Grind it finely to make a smooth paste.
  3. Knead together all the ingredients onion, sooyi chappu, green chillies, ginger, turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt, curry leaves with the chickpeas paste.
  4. Make small balls out of the dough and press it lightly.
  5. Fry these vadas in oil.
  6. Serve with coconut chutney or tomato sauce.
