Spicy Chicken Chukka
Chicken pieces are marinated in a sweet chilli sauce mixture, deep fried and then cooked in medium flame until done.

Ginger

Green chillies

Tomatoes
sliced

Garam masala

tsp
Turmeric powder
3
tsp
Chilly powder
3
tsp
Coriander powder
2
tsp
Cumin powder
Jeerakam
2
tsp
Pepper corns
crushed
Salt
As reqd
1
tbsp
Sweet chilly sauce
Curry leaves
Few
Oil
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing spicy chicken chukka, first marinate chicken with pepper,
salt
and sweet chilly sauce.
Marinate it for 1 hour.
In a pan, pour
oil
.
When hot, add chicken pieces and fry it.
When chicken turns color, add
onion
,
ginger
-
garlic
paste and fry it.
Add
green chillies
and fry it.
Add
garam masala
,
coriander powder
, chilly powder and
turmeric
.
Add
salt
and cover it with a lid.
Fry it for sometime.
Sprinkle
water
and cook it well.
When done, and
water
is fully evaporated, add
cumin powder
,
curry leaves
.
Make it a dry masala.
Spicy chicken chukka is ready.
