  • Red chili powder - ½ tsp
  • Green cardamoms - 2
  • Black cardamom - 1

  • Coriander seeds - 1 tsp

Instructions
  1. For the Marinade:
  2. Marinate the chicken with + tbsp of oil, + tsp of turmeric, + tsp of red chili powder and salt and keep
  3. aside.
  4. For the Garam Masala Powder:
  5. Dry roast 2 green cardamoms,1 black cardamom, 3 cloves, + tsp cumin, + tsp coriander seeds, 8 whole black pepper corns, 2-3 whole red chilies, 1 bay leaf. Cool and grind to a fine powder.
  6. For the Hara Masala:
  7. Grind a large hand-full of coriander with 3-4 green chilies, 1 tsp garlic, ginger paste, and salt to a fine paste.
  8. Heat the oil and fry the onions till light brown in color.
  9. Add the hara masala paste, garam masala powder, and haldi powder to it. Add a little water.
  10. Cook on a low flame till the oil begins to separate from the masala,
  11. Add the marinated chicken. Saute everything together, add + cup water and salt to taste. Cook covered on a low flame, around 5 - 7 minutes or till the chicken is tender.
  12. Serve garnished with fresh coriander.
