Spicy Chicken In Green Gravy
Chicken is marinated and the gravy is made by mixing different ingredients

Green chillies

Spinach

bunch
Coriander leaves
1
bunch
Mint leaves
1/2
tsp
Turmeric powder
1
tbsp
Chilly powder
3
tsp
Pepper powder
2
tsp
Garam masala
Salt
As reqd
2
tbsp
Lime juice
1
tsp
Coriander powder
1/2
cup
Fresh
Cream
beaten well
Oil
As reqd
Water
As reqd
Instructions
For preparing spicy chicken in green gravy, cut chicken into small pieces and clean it.
Marinate the chicken with
turmeric powder
, 2 tsp
pepper powder
,
salt
and lime juice. Keep aside for 2 hrs.
Blanch the
spinach
leaves and leave to cool.
Fry the chicken till it becomes crispy and keep it aside.
Grind the blanched
spinach
, coriander leaves and
mint leaves
into a smooth paste
Take about 2 tbsp
oil
from the
oil
used for frying and pour into another pan.
When it gets hot, fry onions,
ginger
,
garlic
and green chilies till it becomes light brown.
Add chilly powder,
coriander powder
and 1 tsp of
garam masala
.
Then pour the leaves paste, required
water
and potatoes into this pan.
Once the potatoes are cooked add the fried chicken.
Cover the pan and wait for it to boil. Add
salt
if required at this point.
Then add fresh
cream
and stir. Lower the flame. It should become hot, don't let it boil.
Garnish by sprinkling
pepper powder
and
garam masala
powder.
Spicy chicken in green gravy is ready. Serve hot with rice, bread, paratha etc.
