Spicy Diamond Cuts
Easy to make with maida and simple ingredients

Ingredients

All purpose flour
Maida
2
tbsp
Butter
1/4
tsp
Baking powder
2
tsp
Kashmiri Chilly powder
1
tsp
Ajwain
omam
1
tsp
Cumin seeds
Jeerakam
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Mix maida,
baking powder
,
salt
, jeera, ajwain and chilly powder in a bowl.
Add butter and mix well. sprinkle
water
and knead it to a chappathi dough.
Keep aside and cover it with a lid.
After some time, make medium-sized balls out of the dough.
Roll into circular flat chapathis and cut vertically and diagonally with one inch space between each line.
Cris-cross to get diamond shapes.
Heat
oil
in a pan and deep fry these cuts until golden brown.
Crispy spicy diamond cuts are ready.
Cool and store it in air-tight containers.
Note: 1)Good for tea-time snack and children snack-boxes.
