Instructions
  1. Mix maida, baking powder, salt, jeera, ajwain and chilly powder in a bowl.
  2. Add butter and mix well. sprinkle water and knead it to a chappathi dough.
  3. Keep aside and cover it with a lid.
  4. After some time, make medium-sized balls out of the dough.
  5. Roll into circular flat chapathis and cut vertically and diagonally with one inch space between each line.
  6. Cris-cross to get diamond shapes.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these cuts until golden brown.
  8. Crispy spicy diamond cuts are ready.
  9. Cool and store it in air-tight containers.
  10. Note: 1)Good for tea-time snack and children snack-boxes.
