Spicy Mayan Chocolate Drink

Ingredients
  

  • 1 no Hersheys bars or dairy milk plain milk chocolate with no nuts
  • 4-5 nos Green Cardamom
  • 6-7 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 1 inch Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • Nutmeg if powder take 1/4 tsp
  • 1/2-1 cup Milk
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Powder the spices together and keep aside.
  • Take a big bottomed pot and fill with water upto middle(not too full).
  • Place the pot on the fire and let the water heat up.
  • Take a smaller bowl (one that will easily fit into the pot with water).
  • Put the hearsheys bars into the small bowl and place the bowl in the water.
  • Add 2-3 tbsp of milk and stir with a spoon.
  • :- The chocolate will start to melt as the water gets more hot.
  • Add the spices.
  • Keep stiring and you might need to add more milk depending on the thickness of the chocolate drink. Once the chocolate becomes hot, take out and serve in cups.
  • Tip: This is a very heavy drink so you might want to serve in small cups or only fill 3/4th while serving.
