Instructions
  1. For preparing spinach/palak paneer, first mix spinach leaves with ginger-garlic paste, green chilly paste and some water.
  2. Cook the spinach mixture in a pressure cooker for 5 minutes.
  3. Blend the spinach paste in a blender to make a thick paste. Keep this aside.
  4. Heat butter in a pan and deep fry the paneer cubes till golden brown in color.
  5. In the remaining butter, splutter cumin seeds and fry bay leaves.
  6. Add chopped onion and fry for a few minutes.
  7. Stir in pepper powder, garam masala and required salt.
  8. Add fried paneer cubes and spinach paste.
  9. Stir in low heat for a few minutes and remove from fire. Spinach/palak paneer, a yummy North Indian dish, is ready.
  10. Serve spinach/palak paneer hot with rotis.
