Sprouted
green gram
1/2
tin
Tinned
Mushroom
chopped into small pieces
1

Onion
chopped, large
1
stick
Cinnamon
Karugapatta
For grinding:-
1/2
cup
Grated
coconut
2
nos
Garlic
pods
2
nos
Green chillies
1/4
tsp
Turmeric
1
spoon
Coriander powder
1
spoon
Pepper powder
Salt
As reqd
1/4
cup
Coriander leaves
Instructions
Boil 3 cups of
water
and put the sproutes in it and cook for 5 mins.
Drain out the
water
and keep the sproutes aside.
In a kadai, heat some
oil
and put cinnamon stick.
Add
onion
and
salt
and saute well.
Grind
coconut
with
garlic
and chillies without
water
.
Add it into the kadai and saute well for 2 - 3 mins.
Add
pepper powder
and
coriander powder
.
Add chopped
mushroom
and cook closed for 10 mins on lower flame.
After 10 mins, add sproutes and cook for 5 mins.
Finally add coriander leaves.
:- Serve with chappathis and/or rice.
